As any true cat worshiper will understand, there is a craving for kitty affection that comes with being a cat lover. However, owning and caring for a cat is an expensive and long term responsibility that not everyone is able to commit to. We understand that and applaud you for not giving into your obsessive cat impulses. In return we have complied a list of how to get your kitty fix when you are unable to care for a cat yourself.
1. Visit a shelter (recommended over pet stores)
Animal shelters are a great place to give both you and the cats the kitty to human social interaction that you both desire. Although be warned, by being in a room full of adorable adoptable floofyness you may get the urge to impulsively adopt a kitty. However, if you are not in a position where you can give your kitty the correct love and care then please try to fight these urges (we understand your pain).

2. Snuggle a friends kitty
After all, what are friends for? If the temptation of adoptable kitties is too much to handle opt for snuggling a friend's cat.

3. Cat cafes
Cat cafes are a great way to spend time with multiple kitties in a big open area that feels comfortable to the cat. It's also a great place to get a bite to eat. Unfortunately if you're a small town dweller you'll likely have to travel to your closest city to access a cat café. But I assure you it's worth the effort. Although be warned! Most cat cafes work as temporary homes for adoptable kitties so if you're not in a position to take one home prepare yourself before entering.
4. Foster a kitty
Unfortunately, this option won't work for all pet-less cat lovers and only applies to those who have the time, money and space to care for a cat, however are unable to commit to the 16 years of a cats life. Fostering a cat is a great way to get your daily kitty fix while also providing kitties comfortable living spaces until they find their forever home. Fostering kitties also have added benefits such as creating more space in shelters, which in turn means that more homeless kitties will have a place to stay, and less kitties will be euthanized (the latter only applies to kill shelters).

5. The Internet
Although a less personal option, it is an extremely easy and accessible way to get your daily kitty fix. There's endless options of YouTube videos, gifs and awesome blogs such as this one to satisfy your kitty needs.
